There seems to be some contention regarding whether "Aerodynamic" should be referred to as an instrumental or as a song. I sence Hells Bells in it, anyone else? 98.166.49.125 ( talk) 04:55, 12 December 2008 (UTC) Instrumental or song Thank you.īetacommandBot ( talk) 07:24, 2 January 2008 (UTC) Hells Bells If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. But to people outside of metal, I guess it could sound fast. Any respectable shredder would be able to tap this with one hand, and ANY guitarist could play it with two. It's also nothing close to "Yngwie-like". In any case, a reliable source would need to be cited for this information. The articles i've readded a direct link to provide a sample for illustrative purposes, and hence are fair use. However, other uncertain samples have either been claimed by some unknown blog or even denied by Daft Punk.
The most unique one is Eddie Johns "More Spell on You" with "One More Time" which was something that was shown via YouTube. Also, there are a lot of uncleared and uncertain samples within Daft Punk's discography.
As for reverting the claims of Daft Punk using samples, a lot of the claims have no source or if there's any source, it's from a blog that anyone can create and simply make a claim. The Daft Punk releated articles are regularly maintained by a few people and check the verifiability of the sources in question. 67.164.79.66 ( talk) 08:00, 21 March 2009 (UTC) If there's other articles that don't have sources, be bold and remove those items from the page. The users who continually remove reference to said uncleared samples are obviously more interested in being apologists for and/or denying Daft Punk's uncleared sampling, and are not actually interested in having the article follow Wikipedia's guidelines. I don't think it follows the NPOV guidelines to completely remove any references to uncleared samples. Someone will have to explain to me why articles for albums like Big Daddy Kane's Long Live the Kane and Public Enemy's Yo! Bum Rush the Show are allowed to cite an entire album's worth of uncleared samples with NO references, but doing so for Daft Punk WITH references is taboo.
